A group of aggrieved leaders and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Ondo state have passed a vote of no confidence on the former Osun state governor, Chief Bisi Akande as the Chairman of the newly inaugurated APC National Reconciliation Committee.
The aggrieved leaders, operating under the umbrella of the “Unity Forum of All Progressives Congress”, Ondo State Chapter led by a former Deputy governor of Ondo state, Alhaji Ali Olanusi rejected Chief Akande calling him a Stooge of the governor Akeredolu.
The group accused Chief Akande of being on the payroll of Akeredolu and may not be fair in administering genuine reconciliation to the satisfaction of its members.
The group also condemned in strong terms, the setting up of an Advisory Council in APC Ondo State headed by Chief Pius Akinyelure and Isaac Kekemeke as the Secretary, insisting that the composition of the Advisory council did not reflect the real membership spread of the party in the state.
