Ahead this year’s Secondary School certificate examination, Ondo state government has strategized against examination malpractice.
The government, through the Ministry of Education has met with the officials of the West African Examination Council,WAEC, and that of the National Examination Council, NECO for joint review of the last exercise and plans to make the upcoming one a hitch-free.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mr .Akin Asaniyan who gave the warning while speaking to Orange FM in Akure said those found culpable in the previous exam would face dire consequence.
While saying that ondo state government has a Zero-tolerance for Exam Malpractice said erring School administrators from government-owned school would be demoted while those at Private schools would have their schools shut.
Asaniyan called on all stakeholders to complement government’,s efforts towards Education development in the state.
